You don't need a dozen addons. You need price history, faster posting and a clean way to track what you own.

Pricing and posting

Auctionator is the simplest starting point. It makes searching and posting faster, remembers prices you've seen, and supports shopping lists for your regular reagents. For most players it's all they will ever need.

TradeSkillMaster is the heavy-duty option. It runs on rules you set ("never post below this, never above that"), handles mail and crafting queues, and its desktop app pulls in regional price data. There's a learning curve, but once your operations are set up, a full posting cycle takes minutes.

Knowing what you own

Inventory addons that track bags, banks and the warband bank across all your characters save surprising amounts of gold. You stop buying materials you already have on an alt.

The official tools

Blizzard's own auction interface keeps improving, and the companion app lets you check and post commodities away from the game. Combine them with one pricing addon and you have everything a working gold-maker needs.

Whatever you install, keep it current. Auction addons are among the first things to break after a major patch, and posting with outdated price data is a quick way to sell your best items cheap.
